We love living in Founders Pointe. The activities and events at the clubhouse made it easy for us to get to know our neighbors when we first arrived and continue to be a great source of enjoyment for us. When it’s time to get away and back to nature a bit, we all enjoy the pier. While, my kids loving watching the fiddler crabs, fishing, and spotting the occasional turtle, my husband and I enjoy adding a stroll down the pier to our regular walks around the neighborhood.

Immediately when we visited Founders Pointe we knew it was to be our new home! We get a real sense of family here and are very excited about meeting our new neighbors.

They say you find ‘love’ when you are not looking for it; and, that is exactly what happened for our family. We stumbled onto our beautiful home while leisurely driving thru Founder’s Pointe on a warm early March day. We were not in the market to buy a home, but we knew when we turned into Founder’s Pointe that we loved the neighborhood. We knew when we walked into the beautiful stone front house we now call home that we had to have it. Since moving into our Sasser constructed home only 6 weeks after that ‘Sunday drive’, we have fallen in love with our wonderful neighbors and see many years of raising our son in this community.

We were looking for a retirement home but wanted a sense of “neighborhood” with families and children – not a retirement community. East West Partners has a proven track record in planning communities with “quality builders”. This is winning combination for families of all ages and interest. We never expected to build a new home – it is easier than we imagined.

We chose Founders Pointe for the convenient location; close to the office in Smithfield and yet easy to get to all the various areas of Hampton Roads. We have quickly found several great restaurants and continue to explore the area.

| We are thrilled to be moving to Founders Pointe. As I told you I had found the website when I knew we would be moving to the area. The website is so well done and user friendly. It was wonderful to be able to see all the floorplans available and the interactive map is a terrific tool. As you know when we saw the Westbury, Jim and I knew we had found the house of our dreams.

We feel very fortunate to have discovered Founders Pointe, because we quickly realized what a great community this is going to be. Coming from the DC area, we had our reservations about the location, but after just a couple of trips down, we are now very excited about the location, especially the close proximity to the conveniences of the Peninsula and Smithfield. We can’t wait to move in and watch as this development blossoms into a close knit community.

Your ‘tag line’ says it all – “Live close to what matters most.” This can mean something different to everyone but to us Founder’s is desirable because of the serenity it provides. When we drive into this planned community we feel like we have arrived at a resort destination. The trees, breezes off the James and overall tranquility contribute to this vacation-like feeling. Overall, this will be the friendly, family-oriented development that we have been looking for.

From our first visit to Founders Pointe, Tommy and I knew we found the right neighborhood. We are excited to be one of the founding residents. We knew that a new development would provide us the opportunity to meet and greet many of our new neighbors. With two daughters, Sarah (4) and Shannon (5 months) we are hoping to help them find life-time friends.

Location, location and location is really what drew us to Founders Pointe! We contemplated a move for over a year so that we could be closer to our families, friends and workplaces, and we kept coming back to Founders Pointe. What really attracted us to Founders Pointe was its resort-style atmosphere, the preservation of the natural beauty of the area, the controlled environment (homeowner’s association) and distinctive architectural designs which are unique to each home.

Since buying a home has been committing to the single largest purchase we will ever make, it was a financial decision that we would spend considerable time and energy making sure we had made the best choice possible.
